Audi service history

Is it possible to obtain from Audi any back service history?
From what I remember they only hold on to that info for a few years..I might be proved wrong but it’s my understanding so if you have an 18 year old car they may only have last 10 years or less ..rest is wiped .depending on dealer some are helpful as history is centralised on the computer ..supplying dealer maybe on your reg plates good luck ..

It is best to contact the local dealer direct. Audi UK won't be able to help much in my experience but the local dealers may still have records.

I've always found the dealer network incredibly helpful with this. I used it extensively when searching for cars and carrying out background checks. When i bought our A2 the service book wasn't stamped but i knew the work had been done having done the intel. Following purchase the servicing dealer was excellent. I sent the book to them and it was stamped to record the completed service.
Why this wasn't done originally is a mystery which is more likely the owners omission than the dealers in my view.
End result is a fully stamped up book and as of next year I'm into book 2.
Already bought and awaiting the inky press in September ???

When my wife picked her SQ5, Guildford Audi were also very helpful when I asked them to check into my old A2. They have everything on record from the original specification, parts purchases and main dealer servicing history etc.

Thanks for all the info. Will see if I have any luck with Manchester Audi.
Fingers crossed as new car comes with no history except the last MOT!
