Hi all just a quick heads up folks - 11 years and we have been at this show from the humble beginnings of a small gathering of Audi’s. We had three cars on the club pitch (if you could call it that)
August the 11th is the date for your diaries. Please add your names to the rsvp above (not visible via tap talk) this keeps Yvonne and I up to speed on numbers that we forward on to Calvin the man behind the now worlds largest Audi only show.

Full details www.audisinthepark.com
Advance tickets available now from the website above. Cut off for advance tickets is July 12 it then is pay on gate.
It would be great to get close to the 42 A2’s we had a few years back.

I will add more details when I’m home from holiday.

We will be staying at holiday inn corby and this will also be the meeting point to convoy into the show.

Looking forward to this one too. Mike and Yvonne thanks for organising the socials we all really do appreciate it :)

Did I mention I can’t wait to go in convoy seeing all the people rubbing there eyes to see if there seeing loads of A2’s or just seeing things in there head lol ?

My A2 is still wearing it's AITP9 sticker with pride. Holidays work this year, so should be able to be there all things being equal.
Don’t worry Darren but I’ll be inspecting the under tray to see if it’s a bodge job or if it’s been done properly ?

As Alison is back, I'm up for this! Alison and I will be coming from the Kent\Sussex Border... Any local people coming along? ?

ive been to all 10 and it started off at £10 per car, now its £20 gate entry per person so us 4 will be £80
i think Calvin is taking the mick..

i will pass on your thought but all i can say is order them in advance and save £20. I do know that the places that hire out the event fields are getting greedy and also having to cover the costs of health and safety requirements etc
possibly why so many car shows are not happening this year.

Is this the Holiday Inn Corby, Kettering A43?

Yes £20 per person on the gate is a bit steep (in my opinion).

Cost of car shows seems to vary significantly.

Been to a number of very good general classic car shows this year that were either FOC or £5 admission. They seem to be on the increase - in this area at least.

I will confirm my attendance or otherwise in the next few days. Mrs C flies home tonight and then I’m away for a few days myself. Appreciate all that goes into running these events, but I’m another that will need to evaluate the pennies (with my good lady) I’m afraid.

I do understand the concerns around pricing as it is a bit of a jump. But as Mike says, the costs for Calvin have gone up. I don't know if under 16s were previously free, but I did notice when I bought mine that under 16s go free. So for two adults and two kids, in advance is £30 in total.

And of course - this is the social that I bring homemade cupcakes to ?

Totally T. That said, I have to think about the family and what there is for them to do. £30 when compared to what is on offer at Kimbolton for arguments sake or Stanford Hall, raises an eye. I’m not criticising, as I said, I get that costs escalate - health and welfare, security and insurance etc. That isn’t Calvin’s fault, no more than it is mine for evaluating the entry fee and perceived value for us as a collective.

Your cupcakes are a joy T it has to be said. ?

Ummm do I get a cupcake? ???

I take it that your a good cook ?

If I made some cupcakes and bought them you’d probably all have tummy ache after as my cooking is awful lol ?

Completely agree Darren. I also did a quick comparison with Kimbolton. I think I just miss the Cottrells when you aren't there. If you can't make it, I'll do you all some special Cottrell cupcakes for Kimbolton.

Yes Louis - you can have a cupcake at AITP - I make a lot. If you have a flavour preference, let me know ?

Thank you Teresa :) Don’t mind flavour wise I’ll eat anything lol?:)?
