Audis in the park 2017

Always welcome Paul as others have said
Glad I came and had a chat with you. Also as others have said great looking car. I miss our Castle Red one

Vonnie

Was nice talking to you aswell . Must of been hard to let go of your castle red , but at least you know it's going to be well looked after .

I took several photos of your lovely car Paul; will share with you once I'm back from leave. I see I also made one of your pics talking to George; shame you didn't say hi. Cheers.

Yes Paul and the black tailgate chrome strip; your A2 looks very unique, personal and tasteful. A very lovely colour castle red IMHO and one which works well with the black touches such as the alloys.

The black chrome strip and the front grill needs to be wrapped or resprayed as the stonechips are very obvious . I had my alloys refurbed a couple of months ago now which has improved it's appearance , also had it detailed before aitp to get rid of all those paint swirls .

Thanks to all that made me feel welcome in the community and that put much affort, helping to make it a great day for everyone!

It was nice to see old and new faces together with so many Audis from almost every era.
Again definitely worth every mile i have driven to the event.

Roll on next AITP..

Really ? I never knew that . I will remove it straight away . Thanks for the heads up .

I wish I knew that! I hate air fresheners and when I bought the car is had a horrific one in there. Nearly two years later the odour lingers: hopefully a full clean will reinstate the nice smell of autoglym.

Anyway, I now have a nice hard touch climate panel and light switch (as well as new driver's soft touch window switch) so have at least stopped the rot...

They all say "do not place near polished surfaces and plastics" I have seen the small cubby hole in the end of the centre console actually melt due to someone putting the fibre block air fresheners from the California scent airfresheners. Dodgy things hence why they are supposed to be hanging - but as it's now an mot fail if hanging from the mirror people pop them in a variety of places.

Some air fresheners have been shown to increase the effects of depression - sling them out!

Simon.

A selection from me; starting with the delightful Rosie...
