Audis in the park 8 august 13-14 2016

Haha yes the wrist band is the ticket. Looking forward to this very much. Cheers Mike
Ps you can still pay on the gate if you missed the advanced tickets -if your planning on coming please add your name to the calendar links on the opening post of this thread. It then gives me numbers for pitch size and layout.

Morning happy A2'ers
Getting close now so to all that have got their advanced tickets - don't forget them ! TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE ON THE GATE £10 PER CAR please also bring a chair or blanket to sit on (ever confident on the weather). We will have tea and coffee but there are catering vans on site.
We will be meeting up at the local McDonalds as per previous years. Its located in a retail park with masses of parking space just a few miles from Billing itself, and it's just a stones-throw off of the A45, one junction away from the billing turn-off. Riverside Business Pk Northampton NN3 9HY. Time wise 8.00 and leaving to go to show site at 8.30-8.45.This will be for both days. If you need Billing Aquadrome Address its Crow Ln, Northampton NN3 9DA.

Drive careful through the park please as its a busy place with other shows going on as well as AITP. Please do not speed as last year there were lots of complaints that cars were far to fast---i'm sure it was non of us but have to say. I'm looking forward to catching up with you all. cheers mike

If anyone wants my mobile number then just drop me a private message.

Hi. I'm coming from Norwich on the Saturday and due to going out on Friday and having parents staying at mine that night, I'm unlikely to get there much before lunchtime.
Am I best just parking in the main car park that day and then meeting up with you on the Sunday morning?
Thank you

Hi Terasa just make your way to the A2oc pitch and join us---we usually have a cunning plan for parking as a group so someone will guide you I'm sure. No problem arriving late. Its a fun day out not a regimented exercise. Cheers mike and yvonne

Hey Guys
Hopefully the car will be sorted by tomorrow which means that I will be able to come this weekend. Unfortunately I haven't bought my tickets yet in advance so will be buying them on the door. Hopefully see you guys at 8 in the morning.

PHEWW finally home-i need my bed, my little legs don't want to play anymore. Before i retire i would just like to thank all that attended the show over the weekend. It really does make all the work worthwhile when i see the cars looking great and the smiling faces up and down the lines of cars. We were blessed with great weather on both days albeit cloudy it was really warm and that just got better when the blue sky pushed the cloud back. At the end of saturday we had some red faces and arms proof that in England we do get sunshine.
We were joined once again by some German A2 owners --Phoenix(Andre) did the trip in his 1.2tdi. A trip he has done now three times and he averages over 110MPG this is fantastic for a car of 12+years old and over 400k kms on the clock ! Unfortunately Patrick and his family were almost at their hotel in milton keynes when he was involved in an accident resulting in what is looking like a write off ---luckily all were un harmed but as you can imaging so far from home it is a major inconvenience for them to sort out--i'm sure you all will join me and wish them luck in sorting this mess out. If there was one good part of this sorry story then it must be that Tony (Hotstuff) from A2cars recovered their tdi90 and assessed the damage for an initial insurance report. It was great to see them still attend the show even if still shocked from the accident.
Now back on a happier note it was great to see some new cars and their owners at the show along with familiar faces of the regular attendees. There was a great colour spread on the stand with some super shinny examples and in my opinion one of the shiniest cars i have seen in a long time was from one if not the youngest member-Matt's wet looking black tdi.
Yvonne and i would also like to thank Jeffers for bringing his pop up gazebo for us to use as a coffee and tea tent also thanks to Maddy-Diane-Carole-Darren c --i'm sure i have missed some names so thanks all for helping to set the kit up and pack it away both days.
Please remember with out you all turning up we wouldn't have a social scene--it was great to hear so many of you asking "when is the next one?" So once again thank you all--mike and yvonne
