Auto electrician needed - where to go?

My partner bought a low mileage A2 recently (just before xmas) and it has been fine until about 1 week ago. First, the radio stopped working (not a fuse - I checked). Then the battery went almost flat. Remote locking stopped working (not the key fob, either). I manage to remove the battery and charge it up, removing the radio fuse as a precaution. Alarm stopped working. Took into local Audi 'specialist' who cannot locate the problem, although managed to get remote locking fixed.

Despite looking around extensively on the web, I cannot seem to find an Audi dealer locally (i.e. Oxfordshire or thereabouts) who have experienced auto-electricians. Can anyone here suggest one? I really don't want to take this car into anyone else who is not experienced with auto electrics as they could just make the problem worse.

I hope someone can help.

BTW - brilliant website. Fantastic to see so many other people with this motor.

Had some similar issues with our 03 FSi, bad earth though source never found, new earth fitted.
Hopefully someone can tell us where the main body earth points are? Have you checked the battery is charging whilst the engine is running. Multi meters are cheap, Maplin is likely easy source. Surely someone locally can recommend an auto spark?

I take it he gave the car a scan ? did he say if anything showed up on that ? is your radio an aftermarket or STD unit ?

Sorry about the questions but it may help someone to narrow down your problem
