Afternoon all,

I can confirm that the footrest sent to Paul has been delivered today. Over the next few days Paul will test fit the infills produced by his new printer and make any necessary adjustments to ensure a perfect fit.

Fingers crossed I’ll have the bulk order of infills from the list delivered to me by next weekend. Soon as they arrive they will be added to your already prepared parcels and sent without delay.

Thank you all for waiting for this third group order to materialise, the end is in sight and you’ll have what you showed interest in over the last few months.

Morning all,

Another update for you.

Paul has finished any remedial works and has printed all 15 sets on infills as per the list. They will be dispatched today.

Soon as they arrive I will add them to the already prepared parcels and get them dropped off at my local Hermes shop. You should certainly have you purchase before next weekend.

The next contact you’ll receive is a PM from me, providing a picture of your parcel along with the Hermes tracking number.

For anyone out there wishing to purchase a footrest:

I can still supply the footrests (only 12 left) and 3M UHB tape but not the 3D printed infills. The infills must be purchased direct from Paul @depronman.

Afternoon all,

I have now received the 3D printed Infills from Paul and have already added them to you parcels. All parcels are sealed up and ready for dropping off at my local Hermes shop for dispatch, which will be done this evening. Your parcels will be collected from the shop tomorrow lunchtime and should be with you for the weekend.

Evening all,

Not long been back from my local Hermes drop off shop. The footrests for all members on the list have now been handed over to Hermes, check you inbox as your tracking information has just been sent. You should be able to fit these this weekend.

Top tip for fitting and to promote best adhesion is to ensure the factory footrest area is immaculately clean and free of any grease, oil or cleaning product. Some IPA will certainly help.

You’ll need some superglue to adhere the infills in place. I use the gel type product as it’s less messy and easier to handle but that’s just me.

Good luck fitting your purchase(s), I’m here to help/advise if for some reason you get stuck (hopefully not to your footrest though) Don’t forget some pictures once you’re done.

For anyone else who is yet to purchase a footrest, I have 12 here for sale which I can supply as a bare unit or with the 3M UHB tape. The 3D printed infills will now be a separate purchase from Paul @depronman.

These 12 remaining footrests will be making their way south next weekend to be handed over to Ian @Proghound to be taken on as stock in the Clubs merchandise area.

Evening all,

Quick update of the list showing who has already received their purchases:

List removed as it no longer serves a purpose.

Fingers crossed Hermes catch up and deliver the last package quickly.

There are still 12 footrests remaining that can be purchased as a bare unit (without 3D printed infills) or with 3M UHB tape. The infills are now only available as a separate purchase from Paul.

The unsold footrests will be making their way to Leighton Buzzard this weekend for Ian @Proghound to add to the stock of there Clubs shop.

I guess thats my involvement pretty much complete on this venture now. Thank you to everyone who has been involved in proceedings and I'm so pleased that I was able to assist to improve some 155 A2 footwells.

Tom, the quality is spot on and your input has been excellent… any chance that you maybe looking at the pedals in the future? Here’s hoping?❤️?

Evening Paul,

The pedals would be more difficult and expensive to get reproduced. There is already an aftermarket run of these available on AliExpress and other places and I’d probably struggle to beat their prices, although I’m sure the quality might be as good as OEM.

The more difficult part to perfect is the rubber behind the metal cover.

There is some very nicely priced brand new sets here on eBay (Spain), probably not factory items though. Only 2 sets left, no affiliation with seller etcetera. £27

Also some cheap sets available here on Amazon (certainly aftermarket). £20

Genuine new sets available here on eBay. Mention of LHD though and not sure if these fit well in a RHD footwell. £50

Failing that I might have an old genuine set in the garage with worn rubbers that you can have.

I can now confirm that all the footrests on the list have been delivered. Thanks again to everyone who purchased from this third run of this great item.

I’ll leave this thread open for a few days to allow anyone to request any of the remaining 12 along with any pictures to be added by the members showing the updated look of their footwell.

This thread is at its natural end now. The 12 remaining footrests have been delivered to Ian @Proghound who will be making them available in the Clubs Shop in due course. The footrests will only be available as a bare unit, no tape and no infills. The infills are still available direct from Paul @depronman. The 3M UHB tape will need to be purchased by your good selves separately.
