Bespoke A2 Footrest Group Order

Only 10 remaining now people as I’m securing my third one.

#1 will be used for experimental purposes, seeing what I can do in the future with black rubber as per the TT Pedals.
#2 is for Project OEM.
#3 will be placed into a new A2 that I’m after.

10 left people. Show your interest now as they are running out fast.

The order will be submitted in 9 days. I can only but guess but I think they’ll all be spoken for by then.

Thank you so much for your interest. These are being spoken for quickly and only 6 remain.

The order will be going into Cut-Tec in 9 days. I see these selling out before then but don’t think the interest is going to get to enough for a second list to start to order more 93 footrests.

With only 6 left up for grabs I think time is running out, respond soonest to avoid disappointment.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for that bit if news on the handbrake knob. I know one or two people who fabricate things and will ask the question. One of those is the guy who built the replica Auto Union racing cars for Audi.

Indeed it was. The parts kindly supplied by yourself are very happy in their new home. Rear bumper awaits fitment and I think that will happen with the other Tom in due course. Do you think I'll need new support brackets?

The reason for doing that is he has fitted and removed more rear bumpers than any one on this Earth.

The brackets should be fine Simon as the bumper was carefully removed.

I’m sure I checked the condition of them after removal as I know they are fragile. I would have swapped them with good ones if I had damaged them as I do have some in my spares box.

They’re a good spare to have as even when you’re being careful these inevitable often happens.

Are you serious? (I know that it's Steve that I'm addressing with that comment!) Well you may have kept the contact details of the buyer of the "Holy Grail" and COULD have agreed to have buy ut back?

Peter (the buyer of the “grail”) has always said that he would give me first refusal if he ever sells.
We have been chatting lately and the nightmare scenario would be if he decides to sell and I don’t have the funds available. (My finances are “variable” to put it mildly)
But to avoid that happening I needed to know what the selling price would be. It is a very difficult car to value. Getting it’s real value is very difficult because it is a very limited market. So Peter was kind enough to discuss the price he would ask IF he was to sell.
So I have deliberately “ring fenced” the funds.

So barring any financial disaster (and with COVID who knows?) when he does decide to sell I am ready.

So, in short, I am likely to get it back when Peter decides to sell.
Fingers crossed that it is not a wait of years, but it may well come back to me.

Hi Tom, @Bargepower very kindly offered to collect mine plus any surplus for the Shop, along with his own. I will also go my own route with the 3M tape on mine, so please could I just take the bare product?

Similarly, please could the Shop take any surplus as bare product, but the Shop will purchase the remainder of the 3M roll(s), which I will apply at point of sale. Please also let me know by PM what the balance will be for the Shop (if any).

Afternoon,

The option to have or not to have the 3M tape will be in the PM I send out to everyone. If you don’t want it just reply to the PM stating that you don’t want it. I will give you 2 figures to pay. One with tape, one without tape. Simple as that.
