Bespoke A2 Footrest Group Order

Finally got around to fitting mine, decided to stick some luminous material I had left over from Halloween behind the A2

Morning,

I have noticed quite a few new members recently who might be interested.

To help you, and the new members I might start a new thread to save all the reading and just go a shorter explanation of how we got to where we did on Group Order 1.

This should generate a bit more interest. Leave it with me and I’ll start a new thread for Group Order 2 during the week. I’ll use a few pictures from this thread to show what can be done with these brilliantly fabricated item.

Afternoon Tom,

With the new thread would the use of a RSVP potentially save lots of your time collating information. The buyers will be all in the same place in one list, and possible scope for copy and paste to recipient lists for general PM updates and requests. Maybe the RSVP can have columns for such things as quantity, post/collect etc., whatever you choose.

Just trying to save your time.

Hi Andy,

I think there is certainly a gain in utilising the RSVP function.

It shall be used when I start a completely new thread for Group Order 2. Would members using the RSVP function put the thread towards the top of the Home Screen though when someone adds their name/details to it.

If it doesn’t then I will probably have to stick to my old fashioned method so everyone can have it ‘in their face’ every now and then to keep the interest going.

Leave it with me as it really is a great idea.

It seems that there might well be enough interest to start compiling a list for a second order. Give me a couple of days and I’ll start the proceedings with a new list in a new thread. I’ll put your interest, along with the others before you, on the new list.

This initial Group Order has finally made it to the very end and I'm happy to report that the list has had its final update in Post #360. Every member has now either collected or had their purchase delivered by myself or Hermes.

@ecurb is still yet to get in touch with me for the outstanding £1.30 (additional weight for posting 5 footrests), multiple PMs sent along with linking the username a few times now. Guess I'll just have to write that off.

On a more positive note I can inform you that I have 1 spare footrest (with the potential of a second in time should I purchase another A2, I am in conversation with someone and might go up to 3 A2s again very shortly).

The first person on the waiting list is @flashzero, if this is still wanted please let me know and I'll get this in the Hermes system within 2 hours of payment and postage details received. PM me if you're still interested.

Group Order 2 (lets go!)

For anyone out there who missed out on the first group order and is wishing to have one of these fantastic Bespoke A2 Footrests then please add you interest by replying to this thread. All you need to do is respond with the quantity required, that you either do or don't want the 3M Tapre to hold it in place and whether you want to collect from Coalville or have it delivered. If you want it delivered please do not add your address on this thread, I will contact you via PM to get these details nearer the time of getting interest close to the minimum order figure.

Example (with a reminder of the price):

@2work 1 footrest with 3M Tape delivered to mainland UK (9.46)

@2work 1 footrest without 3M Tape delivered to mainland UK (£7.71)

@2work 1 footrest with 3M Tape collected (£5.66)

@2work 1 footrest without 3M Tape collected (£3.91)

The postage and packaging cost does not change from 1 to 4 footrests with tape and infills. If you want 5 (taking the package over 1kg) then the Hermes 3 day service goes up to £4.20.

Pricing explained: The minimum order total is 93 to purchase these at the brilliant price of £3.91. The genuine 3M VHB Tape is £1.75 for 2x 30cm strips. Packaging comes in at a £0.90 along with Hermes 3 day service at £2.90. All in delivered is £9.46.

There is also the 3D Printed Infills to consider that Paul @depronman (Paul I hope you don't mind me pimping out your printer sir) produces which accompany the footrest and look superb, these cost £4.00 for a set of 12 infills. These can be purchased direct from him but I'm happy to get Paul to send them to me in bulk to save you the £1.00 delivery fee as the weight is negligible, these would simply be placed into your footrest parcel.

The time for Cutting Technologies to get 93 footrests to me is roughly 3-5 days of submitting the order with full payment. They actually sent the last order out the following day and it arrived 2 days later using DPD I think.

So here goes with yet another list, lets see how long it'll take to get the minimum order of 93 footrests:

Im about to publish a new thread for GROUP ORDER #2.

All recent(ish) members interest from this thread has been placed on a new list and will be uploaded here shortly.

Thanks to you all for making this venture come to fruition. I really do like the look of my footwell now and it has only happened the way I intended it to by the great support shown by you all, thank you again.

Paul @depronman I hope you're printer is ready to produce yet more of the infills.

This thread will be closed in the next 24 hours and all future correspondence will be conducted on the new thread.
