Bespoke A2 Footrest Group Order

Getting late now but a quick update before I retire for the evening,

So far I am yet to receive a response from Cut-Tec regards getting a revised quote with changing the material used from aluminium to stainless steel. After reading the information on their website Im not expecting and reply until Monday as they concentrate on production only over weekends, totally acceptable in these unprecedented times.

I have also asked for the revised quote to show the VAT so we know that an increase in price isn't going to take us all by surprise further down the line.

Tomorrow morning I return to work in Scotland and will only have access to this great forum late in the evenings. Please keep anything relating to this thread within this thread, try to keep my inbox empty so I can concentrate on this thread as time will be limited whilst I'm away from home.

Any PMs will certainly get a reply but possibly not until I'm home next weekend.

Agree with your comment on width and length Tom. I would prefer it syled to fit snugly on the left hand side, and reach down to the standard carpet, rather than a mat.
Other than that well done Tom and Paul. Great effort all round, and shows the true spirit of A2oc.net.

Morning Bob and Darren,

Let’s see what Paul @depronman can do for us over the next few days.

With the CAD file in the final stages of production along with having interest for almost 50% of the cheaper option footrests, I see this happening quite quickly.

I suppose all we’re waiting for is either interest for the total 114 footrests or hear from @Proghound to understand what the Club is happy to pay for and take into the shop.

And that's in just a few days! I recon that with a little more time, you would get to that higher number for a better unit price? The club has a "shop", doesn't it? So it might have been possible for this to be a "stock" item? I'm not sure who would be paying for that stock, though?

This is absolutely fantastic news and my thanks go to you and the rest of the Admin Team for your assistance in making it happen.

Fingers crossed only a ‘little’ assistance is needed as the numbers just keep going up.

At this rate we might even be considering the even cheaper option of £2.17 for 230 footrests. I might leave this thread for a week and see where the numbers get to before we choose anything, right now my focus is getting the 114 spoken for.

Evening David,

This was mentioned much earlier in the thread. I’m so glad that Ian @Proghound has managed to find a little financial help just incase we don’t get to £150 minimum order. I truly think we will though.

Evening Graham,

This really is a very nice idea, I do like a bit of Club Branding and would happily go for this as an option.

What does everyone else think, should we change the ‘A2’ to ‘A2OC’. Honestly, I just want a bespoke footrest and I’m happy to act like a sheep and follow the crowd here.

Please show your thoughts on whether you’d like A2 or A2OC LASER cut into the footrest.

Paul @depronman standby for yet another possible change to the CAD File.
