Tom, bear in mind that the odd quantities quoted are most likely what can be cut from a typical 8 x 4ft sheet of material. Thats why the quantity dropped when the footrest dimensions increased slightly. Any additions may bear a hefty premium.

Understood Bob,

I’ll await their reply to see what is possible. Hopefully they can help us out, if not then these 93 might just be the only ones available until we can generate interest in another 93 footrests.

I have a started the PMs good people but it’s taking some time.

There is a 3 minute waiting time in between each message sent which is slowing me down.

Yes I think it’s 90 seconds, I’ve noticed it when sending multiple PM’s to customers.

It’s certainly slowing me down here Steve. It most definitely 3 minutes though as after sending a PM I quickly start a new PM, paste and update the info and still have to wait a further 164 seconds.

A 3 minute wait in between each of the 60 PMs is rather frustrating. I’ll get there though.

Many of you have replied and indeed already paid. I’ll update you all with yet another list later on this evening once I’ve ensured I have extracted all the information from your responses and married up your PayPal name to your user name.

If you’ve not yet paid, please do assist me and put your user name in the ‘add message’ function when making payment.

Evening everyone,

After a day of checking PayPal emails and PMs I must thank you all for responding so far.

Only 1 incorrect money request which has been sorted along with a few non Friends and Family payments which have been rectified.

The order is still going to be submitted this Thursday if I have received all funds from you, even earlier if everyone has paid up.

Evening to you both,

The initial 93 on this order has been reached. That said I have asked Cut-Tec if they can supply an additional 20 footrests to take into the club shop, I am still waiting for their reply.

So I guess to answer your request, I don't know at this time if there are any left until I receive the reply fro Cut-Tec. As Bob @Jellybean mentioned earlier in the thread that the company might charge more for additional footrests as they might have to start using another sheet of stainless steel.

Now if there were more members out there wanting one of these then we could start a second list/order to get to the 93 minimum figure. For now I remain hopeful that Cut-Tec will be able to supply an additional 20 footrests at the same price.

Evening all,

The list is almost complete with the information that I need to send your footrest(s) once I receive them. The email to submit the order has been composed and is ready to be sent to Cutting Technologies soon as I have the remaining payments.

I have just had a conversation with Cutting Technologies and they are going to allow us an additional 20 footrests at the same price as the initial 93. Therefore the list can now go up to 113. I’ll add the recent members interest into the spreadsheet this evening and send PMs out to them (you) for payment etcetera.

Hopefully if everyone has paid by this Thursday then the order can be submitted on time.

Ian @Proghound, I’ll pay for the additional 20 when the time comes and let you Know what is owed by the club to me after any new interested members have paid up.

Hope that makes sense.

That’s a great result Tom. I feared that cut technology would be using a std size sheet and therefore the next qty would be double the original 93. They appear to be very flexible in terms of what they will cut. A great find interns of a supplier as a lot would treat such a small order as more trouble than it’s worth and therefore give a you a take it or leave it attitude

Evening all,

Just updated the list again in post #233. Just so everyone understands whats going on:

Yellow fill means PM sent, requesting payment
Orange fill means PM not sent as I need to call to Cut-Tec in the morning to finalise the additional 20 footrests, this was actually done today but they needed me to call again to confirm it. I was unable to call before they closed for the day due to finishing work too late, I have no reception in the office. Im sure this will be resolved firth thing in the morning.

If securing the additional 20 footrests in the morning goes wrong for some reason then the members with orange in their row will have to wait until the next order. I really do apologise for this cliff hanger but I was just unable to get out of the office to call the Cut-Tec back. Hopefully all will be resolved in the morning though.

Of note these most recent members who registered their interest (who have orange in their row) will have first dibs on the 4 footrests that have yet to be paid for, the cut off has always been stated as Thursday which will be honoured but if payment is not received by then, I will seek Admin support (@Proghound) on how to proceed and look to remove interest of the members who have not paid on time.

Tom, sorry I was away most of this evening, but to confirm my PM that procedure looks fine to me. Payment has to trump interest in this situation or you risk ending up out of pocket. That said, the Shop is ready to clear up any unordered bare product. Drop me a PM when we have the final remaining quantity and I'll arrange that payment.
