Bizarre moving diagram of the A2 body flexing...

I remember this!. The student in question was studying at a UK university at the time he wrote the thesis. He got the idea whilst driving his A2 around the car park at his local Tescos. After he dodged a few 90 year olds in their Micras just pulling out without looking, a few errant trolley collectors and the odd speed-hump, it got him thinking about how these different effects of everyday urban life took their toll on the body structure-and hence this thesis. Amazing.....

P*** another beer Gracey....

Either that, or its what happens to an A2 body if the suspension transport blocks are left in.

Almost a 1.4SE in Merlot Red, Biege interior, 16" 5 spoke alloys, DIS, Open Sky, Elec rear windows.

Easy, or I'll come round in the middle of the night and put a bat up your nightdress (as one Basil Fawlty once said.....)

Student driving an A2 - eh!! And I was under the impression that student grants weren't so attractive anymore. :D
Also, how can he afford to shop at TESCO's?

Students these days-don't know they are born-more money than sense etc etc

Tesco's is cheaper than you think!

Trying not to turn this into another TESCO onslaught, however having shopped at TESCO's for the last few years, have recently found TESCOs becoming more expensive. I have considered trying out the competition however wife says that she is used to the layout of TESCOs and wouldn't be able to change. My wife and gullible always seem to enter the same sentence when it comes to Marketing tactics.

OK. Under duress I am having to make the following statement. (wife read the last post - [:I])

My name and gullible comes into the same sentence when it comes to Car Marketing tactics. [)]

I was a Sainsbury virgin until vey recently-can't say my first time was anything to shout about and much prefer Tesco. Feels like a pair of old slippers you've come to love over the years.

I think we are all bitten by the marketing hype somewhere in our lives/hobbies etc. Why else do Intel keep making faster chips when the ones they brought out 3 years ago are plenty fast enough for everyday use?.

The A2 owners love affair with Tescos has amazed me!

None of you can have used the Tescos at Chichester or Havant - they are both pits!

The local Wall-Mart is better!

There is no Tesco near me now - but I did used to use one on the Cowley Road as a student - to buy blue and white stripe products - which are usually quite unappetising - but very, very cheap.

Now stick to M&S - which is fab - especially for ready meals - but also get dragged to Sainsburys - their "value" products don't make you feel like a complete pikey! (Do people in the rest of the country say that - or is that a London colloquialism?). However, the Tesco Metro stores aren't bad.

Now that we have obviously run out of things to say on the A2 and are no longer able to criticise Audi's fantastic service and quality, I suggest we convert this into a full time supermarket forum!

Oh and Runboy, is that a bat as in cricket - or one of those flying insectivorous mammals? Although neither is particularly appealing up a nightdress.

Harps, no it is one of those flying creatures.

Ever watch Fawlty Towers, or is that before your time?. I'm only 28 but still find it a great laugh!.

No - I'm about the same age as you - so have seen it repeatedly endlessly on UK Gold - although there are apparently only 12 episodes, I can't remember that line. Which episode is it in?

Mind you most things get repeated endlessly on UK Gold - One Foot (I think I can recite the lines in that!), Gimme Gimme and Only Fools (no more!). Still usually better than the 19 back to back episodes of Star Trek on Sky One though.

Harps-I think it is the episode with the hard of hearing woman, the vase, the money won on the horse etc etc. Yes, there was only 12 made. Cl***ic comedy. I watch more on UK Gold than BBC!. Are you being served, some mothers do have em, open all hours.....oh great TV!.

martinw-they sell the entire series on DVD at £29.95 at Tesco's. Chepaer via the internet though-but you can't beat Tesco clubcard points. Maybe one day I will have enough to buy a TT!.

bu surely Tescos' would do a deal on a TT, what with all the free advertising they get here!
