Couple of coats of Dodo wax applied this morning. I highly recommend this stuff. Been using Autoglym products for years and this stuff is half the price and is in a different league. Very easy to apply and take off, if you car is already smooth (claybar) then you could apply and remove the whole car in about 15 minutes. Really makes the Pearl in the paintwork catch the light too.

No affiliation with the seller, but here you can see they do different variants dependant on your car colour.

Hello Steve
Are you applying this one with your machine?
I don't have a machine, should I use the soft wax?
Thanks

The DoDo juice is applied by hand. Very easy to use and wouldn’t need a machine to be honest.

Did you sell the other one?

I think the most successful Allroad / Dunes show off the arches with a strong contrast. E.g. just love an A4 AR in silver over black.

I liked the Dune a lot, that was a great project, but I say keep this one stock: it's a nice spec and looks well and owes peanuts at the moment. I like it as it is. Or: sport it? Bit of a drop, some 17's. Yum.

If it's not a keeper, it'd make someone a lovely car for a little under £1K when things start to move again.

I've not ticked any box because you need one that says 'I like it just as it is thanks' ?

Dude amazing!

Spent a bit of time yesterday replacing the intercooler/turbo pipes. Still need to buy a reducer for straight off the turbo, but it’s looking much tidier.

Also fitted a set of forged wishbones in place of the pressed ones.

Plan to paint the rocker cover next and polish up the manifold cover.

Upgraded to heated black SE leather with electric lumber and map nets. They are not the sport seats I was waiting for but I’ll probably change just the fronts to MK1 TT ones when someone creates the brackets. For now though I’m happy.

I’ve attempted to make the intercooler and pipework a little more stealthy. I think it’s worked and looks better in the flesh than on photos.

Ive also fitted a set of factory 16 inch wheels to the front and the difference in acceleration and handling is quite remarkable. I may have to look for a set of lighter weight wheels for it.

It looks fantastically stealthy with the ‘black out’ at the front. Tough one on the wheels, not normally my bag but they looked spot on I thought. But then why make a ‘quick’ A2 and then weigh it down. I’m sure you’ll find an excellent solution.

Evening all

Now that I have the car running very well with the turbo fitted I think it’s time to push it a little further. The car is currently running only 2 PSI so I’ve ordered a manual boost controller and will also be fitting a boost gauge. I’ll incrementally increase the psi as far as the ECU/injectors can keep up with.

The resulting outcome may be

Or it may be

Time will tell ?
