Black box under metel interior door cover (near speaker)

Hi,

When the guy who fixed my window took the metal cover off, that is under the door card. There is a box that carpeted, can this be taken apart? I still have lots of glass inside somewhere of the door but there was also some on the black box bit.

Is there any space where you can fill the door with wax oil to stop it from rattling in the door itself somewhere?

I'm still insisting before they do this that I have my door off completely, so im just wondering if they do take it off are they going to be able to get all of the glass out?

Yes. Easy. Just the three scews. Then you can remove the metal cover.

On the image we have below, would the glass be in that part at the bottom because on this image,

It shows the top part as kind of no access, but it shows the little gap where the glass has gone, so is it in that little bit at the bottom on your last image:

Mine didnt looks like that when the metal was taken off, the image above with the passenger door, I could not see that area at the bottom..

The big top part and the smaller space at the bottom is not totaly seald fro eachother. So the glass will find a way (at the ends) into the bottom part. See here:
But if you remove the aluminum cover you have access to all spaces.

And see the first image: Many (most) glass will be between the outer sheed metal (door itself) and the inner sheet metal which seperates the down section. See the double sided tape wich holds bith parts together. There will be many glass.
