These would go to the A2's rear amp, so when buying an aftermarket radio, for an A2 (and many other VAG cars, inc Mk1 TT), rear line out, controlled by the radio's front rear fader, is an essential.web says...It is also possible to connect an amplifier or an active subwoofer via the pre-amplifier output to further enhance your in car audio experience
Ah yes, this is correct. The rear needs to be fed via the RCA outputs and therefore you will need an adapter harness. I think you may also need an adapter for the aerial to feed 12v to the diversity unit as I dont believe these head units supply 12v through the aerial. These would go to the A2's rear amp, so when buying an aftermarket radio, for an A2 (and many other VAG cars, inc Mk1 TT), rear line out, controlled by the radio's front rear fader, is an essential.
Also essential that the adaptor cable has rear line outputs. Often termed "half amplied" as only half of the car, the rear, is fed from a separate amp. The front speakers being fed from the radio itself.
Mac.
This is the aerial phantom power you need:Those are for concert 1. There may be differences for concert 2? Either way, you will need to pick up a 12V ignition source, I have used the large white cable behind the climate control before, and you will need to pick up an illumination cable from the ashtray light. The reason for this is that both signals are picked up through CAN with the OEM units, but the Blaupankt will not be compatible with the Audi CAN.
I believe you then just need a converter/adapter for the two plugs and the aerial power as mentioned before.

So if i've understood correctly the conclusion isThis should do it:
Audi ISO Harness Adaptor - CT20AU10 | Halfords UK
Shop the latest Audi ISO Harness Adaptor - CT20AU10 at Halfords UKwww.halfords.com
However, you will need to attach the blue wire from the aerial adapter and blue wire of the ISO harness to the auto antenna output from the Blauplunkt. This way when the head unit is switched on it will power the rear amp and the phantom 12V to the diversity unit.
And remember you still need to add illumination and ignition power by splicing into the ISO adapter.
Clear as mud?

Ian @Kleynie just beat me to this. As long as you put your Concert back in the same car, it'll fire up quite happily. It's actually the car that remembers the radio once the PIN is initially entered, not the other way round. As i'm mid way through the install and have disconnected my Concert 2 I won't be able to get that going again unless I know the PIN code for it
Can anyone direct me to a guide on getting the a pillar panel off ?Ian @Kleynie just beat me to this. As long as you put your Concert back in the same car, it'll fire up quite happily. It's actually the car that remembers the radio once the PIN is initially entered, not the other way round.
I would guess its brave work with a pry tool. Can you say what head unit your fitting please and if you make it work let me know what you did?Can anyone direct me to a guide on getting the a pillar panel off ?
I need to direct the DAB aerial leads along there
The connects 2 May work, I guess that may give you and ignition source. But my experience is that they do not work on the A2.
The Concert 2 will still work without the code if it’s in the original car.
