BNV engine into A2

Thanks.

I wondered if I could transfer over the ancillaries including turbo from my engine. My original had a sudden water pump failure which caused the cambelt to snap and valve contact. This engine had done 225k and was starting to show some signs of wear, although the turbo seems OK.

I can get a second hand engine BNV engine for less that the cost of the parts to overhaul the cylinder head.

The BNV turbo will probably be of the VNT type, i.e. the boost is controlled by vanes. The AMF boost is controlled by a waste gate. So no, probably. Presumably the BNV will have its' own turbo anyway.
