I went to IKEA the other day and on returning home the boot refused to shut. It just bounced up as if something was lodged in the mechanism. And without it catching the alarm does not want to arm and the boot stays open... Thankfully Audi was still open so I drove there as it is only 10 minutes from home. (Docklands Audi London).
What amazing service. Within 5 minutes of me arriving there was a technician at the car and he diagnosed a vacuum pump that had gone. Not in stock so he locked the boot from inside and off I went. It went in today and I just got it back and all is fine and the car washed. £148 for that. Grrr... But at least it locks again!
