Car wouldn't start mid day flwg short journey - no response from full turn on ignition key and glowplug symbol flashing. Tiptronic locked in Park/Stop.
Audi call out on warranty. 'Brake light switch sir - oh, sorry not one in van'. Not one at Audi Bristol or Cardiff. None in UK dealer network(?) and factory on back order..........................

Fault intermittent, temp fix by removing and exercising switch, but not cured.
A2 now at Aidi Cardiff and I'm in an Audi assist programme provided Nissan Micra Auto until new part arrives !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've separately ordered spare switch for 'glove box back-up' via VAG.
Just as well I'm off to Norway for a few days sea, sun, snow and fishing.
