Hi

tried opening my window which was working fine and made a kind of a
loud bang and then all i could hear was the motor the window kind of fell in and i had to manually pull it back up...but every time i go over a bump the window moves back down...

what would have gone wrong can still hear motor.

i've been told it maybe the regulator
 
sounds like the arm holding the glass is loose or broken. Best to have a look yourself. Remove the speaker grilles undo the T-25 socket top of tweeter and the 2 u nder the arm-rest, gentle pull the door card off. unhook the door lock cable from the handle and put aside the door card. Now get a T-30 and undo all the screws round the edge of the metal sheet theres also a few phillips screws to undo.
