Burning smell with air-con

Hi, I have noticed a few problems recently, there has been a burnt smell in the cabin when driving above 60-70 mph..? also I was listening for the turbo tonight while driving along however I can't seem to hear it whistle anymore.. (I will listen again tomorrow)

I read that it might just be a pipe that has come loose or broken can anyone tell me where I can see this pipe (without having to take off the undertray).

I have no warning lights showing.

The burning smell could be caused by oil from a leaking rocker cover gasket getting onto hot parts of the engine

Just to through my hand in was the temp low(outside air) as you have a 2002 TDI which will have the Webasto if this was the first time this winter of it fireing up you could get the smell from that. Mine did the other night now its ok
