Cabin heater

Hello,
Can anyone help please? Although the lights come on briefly my cabin heater is not kicking in on either hot or cold. Any suggestions as to how to fix? Fuse checked/battery disconnected then reconnected again (always solves my dodgy window electrical fault) all to no avail. Many thanks in advance

Could be a seized cabin blower motor.
Access requires removal of the glove box then it becomes a bit fiddly to unbolt the motor to strip , clean and lube the bearings

When my blower motor died it would briefly light the fan speed indicator then drop down to zero after a few seconds. A new motor fixed it.

The ‘secret’ hole through the crossmember to get access to the top screw took me a lot of head scratching to find but otherwise an easy swap.
