Cam Belt time :)

Hello fellow A2'ers, belated Merry Xmas and a pending Happy New Year!

Its time for me to get the cam belt changed on the A2 and was wondering if anyone can recommend an independent in the Macclesfield/Stockport area? I just tried Links in Macc (who have serviced the car upto now) for a guide price and the service dept picked up and slammed the phone down...charming! I know its not cheap but I am sure Audi will be a darn sight more than anywhere else.

Any advice greatfully received :)
 
I took my A2 to Stoke Audi,they had a deal on for the cambelt service on ebay.
£275 includes Audi guarantee and obviously genuine Audi parts.

I know its further than either Macc or Stockport but neither of the Audi dealers from them areas when entertain doing it anywhere near that price.

I'm between Glossop and Mcr location wise and it only takes about 1hour to drive over to Stoke.

O.T.-If anyones interested my A2 will be up for sale soon due to migration to OZ looking for offers around 5k,its a 51reg petrol in excellent all round cond.
