camshaft interchangeability

hi is a camshaft taken from a bms engine suitable for a bhc engine part numbers are the same exept for bhc has suffix c and the bms suffix j does any one know why thanks Mike

I would not use a camshaft from a BMS engine. The camshafts from AMF, BHC and ATL are ALL 045109101C so as long as one of those engine codes they are interchangeable.
