Can I have your help with an electrical problem?

Hi all, today I had the immobilizer removed from my a2 tdi so I could install the full screen instrument cluster. After reassembling everything, I tried the windshield wiper lever buttons and everything works except the reset button. This button, when pushed, turns off the screen, and yet I mounted the cables as Tim told me. Can you help me?

Hi, have you tried pushing and holding the reset button? It's releasing it after a brief press that turns the screen on and off.

That button does turn the screen on and off. To reset press and hold for a few seconds.
That's how mine works anyway.

I didn't try because I got worried right away and reassembled the old panel. But is the function of turning off and on correct with that button?

That's how mine works anyway.

Yes, a brief press toggles the screen off and back on - this does catch a few people out until they get used to it
