Just worked it out, it’s my weekend off
followed by half term!So we ‘might’ go on to Shellislandcamping.com after the meet for a couple of nights camping.
Not been for a couple of years since we have had our tin tent.

While the guest list states this to be 24-25, is it correct that the itinerary in Post #1 is a one day trip on Sunday the 24th?
I take it after the itinerary there would then be a final meetup at @DJ 190 's or is that supposed to be at a different time?
Does anything (breakfast get-together?) take place on the 25th or is that just the day of departure?

I'm not sure why there's some confusion, here? However, the get-together is intended to be a one-day event. I believe that's always been the format? So what Steve had planned was that the start of the event is Sunday, the 24th of May 2020. The start location is my property, Cartref 2001, Trelogan, Holywell, Flintshire, CH8 9BD. The start time is 08:30/09:30 and there will be some delicious Welsh-sourced refreshments. Then I'll lead on a short tour of truly beautiful North Wales. There's some lunch at Betws-y-coed, then on to Anglesy and then a return to your various locations. I hadn't intended a return to my property ..... but I could! Evening coffee and tea-cakes? 
I don't know where the finish date of Monday, the 25th of May has come from? Anyway, I intend to make this event really memorable. It's usual that the final number taking part goes much higher that earlier figures. I'm looking for 60-70 as a conservative estimate! Ha-Ha!
Oh, I'm completing a special, elevated viewing area with amazing views encompassing Blackpool, The Wirral, Liverpool and Parkgate. Frodsham in the distance. I've got some powerful East German border-guard Binoculars which give an very wide field of view and clarity. You'll all be so warmly welcomed, here! I'm hoping that Steve (Birchall) and Tom (Timmus) are able to attend .... I'll be very saddened if they're absent

I'm complimented to read that my attendance is of such value. Thank you! However, unless @Birchall can attend, I fear you'll be saddened, David. I attended the South Wales social last year and would love to attend this year's North Wales social, but I am in Italy that weekend. I'll be working for the members of the Italian A2 Club, as well as attempting to tick off another few mountains on my 'must climb' list.
I'm sure it'll be a splendid event, and I shall look forward to seeing photos appear on A2OC within the days that follow.

I think that whilst the "event" is one day on the Sunday Seb, the longer timescale allows for those of us who live a long way away, to travel and possibly meet up before and, or before leaving for home.
I'm planning on travelling up on the friday and staying near Chester. I'll then travel home on the monday. I think there will be a few of us doing that, so we can always meet up on the friday, Saturday and/or Monday as well

I'm.booked into the Holiday Inn Chester West A55 on the Friday night and the Lyons Nant Hall on the Saturday and Sunday night (I know a few are booked into the Premier Inn,, but i left it a bit late to book the price had rocketed to nearly £300 for two nights without breakfast for just me. The Lyons Nant was £180 with breakfast included

Just to express my concerns regarding the Coronavirus. Firstly, there's nothing that I'd like more than to host you all and for you to enjoy the planned get-together. However, it looks like this awful virus MIGHT be peaking in May, with unprecedented levels of infection. If that is indeed the case, then our event would be bringing people together from many areas and with the possibility of spreading the thing even further. I'll be monitoring how things go and make a decision as to whether the meeting should go-ahead. I do advise that if you have or do make any bookings for accommodation, then please ensure that you can obtain a refund of any deposit made should you have to cancel. I'll keep you informed.

I'm afraid that Yanny and I have to "self-isolate" starting from the weekend. The period is for 3 months! This is because of our ages, not because we have the virus .... YET! So I've already stopped socialising (No meal out, tomorrow) No visits to Yanny from her family for Mother's Day, either.
So I'm so very sorry to have to inform you that I'll have to cancel our get-together on 24th of May. I'd already purchased 5 jars of home-made marmalade, too! Government predictions are that this horrible virus is going to get worse and be peaking in May/June and if Italy/Spain are anything to go by, it's going to be pretty grim!
I am SO sorry to be announcing this, but the earlier the better to avoid cancelled accommodation bookings ...... Just how I'm going to pass the time for the next 3 months is intriguing, but I'll find plenty to do and I do get on well with my Lady, Yanny. Just as well!
