Car valeted, airbag light is now on

Any suggestions. I had the car completely valeted earlier today, and noticed when I got home that the airbag light is now on. I know there are sensitive wires or something in the seats. Is this an easy fix. Selling the car :( so need this fixed asap. Who wants to buy a car with no functioning airbags?
 
Thanks for the link, that one didn't show up when I searched. I've had it running outside the house with the air on full blast to dry it out, so hopefully that'll do the trick.
 
OK, I've had a fan in the car for the last few days, for a few hours a day and the airbag light is still on. Car seems completely dry now, no damp in the carpets or boot. Any suggestions before I take it to a dealer? Would disconnecting the battery and plugging it back in help?
 
Once a fault is logged on a critical component, such as the airbag system, it is quite possible that it will still register (i.e. the light will still be on) after the fault has cleared, so a diagnostic will probably have to be done to remove the light.

yep, when i got mine in april last year the airbag light was on, took it to an independant who said the resistance in the circuit is wrong (with his computer) and quoted me £800 for a new airbag.
contacted previous owner who said he had disconnected the passenger air bag due to using a baby seat. half an hour playing with the glove box later i plugged the connector back in but the light was still on. took it back to said independent and told him (as well as having a bit of a go at him) and then he cleared the fault and it hasnt been on since.
 
Had the dealer clear the fault codes earlier. Light is now going out as usual, so fingers crossed....
