Cargo Nets

More newbie questions I'm afraid.

1. Has anyone a suggestion for a cargo net for the A2? Like something reasonably priced from Halfords? Or similar.

2. I KNOW that I've seen a stretchie strap thing that mounts on the rear wall of the boot on this site - but I will be hog-tied if I can find it again. Drats. Can someone plz point me to it again. And while I'm on this topic - has anyone bought one of these? Do you like it? Is it useful - or would you rather have a net?

I have the "elasticated belt system" that fits to the rear wall - there is a fitting guide for it on the main A2 website (www.audi-a2.co.uk), I also have the elasticated net which connects to the tie down points - that was a free-bee from Audi.

Lee - thanks for the reply - I knew I'd read it here somewhere. But which do you prefer - the net or the belt. And approximately how much did the belt cost.

Well, I use both the belts for bottles any thing that I dont want broken and the net for all the other useless/useful stuff I carry.

I will dig out the cost but I ordered more parts than I realy needed from "VAG Parts" and as a full member of the A2OC you get a discount..

Thanks Lee - but I now see that I may have gotten here just too late. Took me a while to figure out why I had not 'member number' and couldn't find the 'marketplace. It's because I'm not a full member. And I would be, I've tried and I've tried - but the site keeps telling me that 'membership is closed' effective June 2. And without a member number VAG Parts has no interest in any discount.

I got an Audi net from Martin at VAGParts...http://www.vagparts.co.uk/ it is actually the previous A3's net that fits perfectly in the boot of the A2... can't remember the price. Can't go wrong there and far easier to fit than the elasticated belts (that only work if the 2nd boot floor is removed if I'm not mistaken?)
