CCCU - An Experiment

As the cold weather begins to set in, I have decided to set up an experiment involving the CCCU and investigating how much moisture is located within this particular part of the car. As we all know, this area is critical as it houses the brains of our wee cars (well at least the comfort aspects)

The pictures are self explanatory- but I purchased these humidifiers (used to great effect in the house/ car) to capture moisture. When looking within the CCCU foot well I did notice some small drops of water, so made sure this area was all dry before I started.

Next I measured the dry weight of the humidifier bags. I should say at this point my humidifier bags have been used elsewhere in the A2 to cpature some of the moisture so my starting weight is what it is. If you decide to purchase these, they arrive vacuum sealed so the dry weight should be much less.

The next challenge is to wait for few weeks and remove the bag and re-measure the net gain in grams.

I have a pack of absorbent mats below the ccu, saved the whole setup when I went into flood water one dark morning.
