CCCU Problem

Hi I have a problem with my car which seems to be CCCU.
During the summer half of the year, it works well to get into the car with a key and all the doors are unlocked and the lights are turned on in the car.
But when autumn begins to come, it becomes difficult, it can take up to 10 seconds before it works.
And when it's cold, it does not work at all.
I have tried to take the cccu indoors and let it get warm and then connected it to the car then everything works at once for a few minutes before it gets cold again.

Have also tried to run a diagnosis when it is cold but cccu does not respond then.

Good battery voltage? Try replacing the 2 CCCU fuses to see if that helps. Cold is probably making a higher resistance somewhere in the electrics. Does it do the same from the passenger door lock - assuming you do not have remote locking fitted.

I have a new battery and I do not have remote locking.
It's the same problem on both doors.

What fuses are we talking about and where are they located?

Check the wiring as it passes from the front doors into the A pillar for corrosion, old grease or water. Replace the CCCU fuses, check the CCCU wiring plugs and sockets for damage, corrosion or water. May be an internal electrical problem with the CCCU.

Have a full VCDS scan done to hopefully pick up the fault(s).

I have now bought a used cccu from UK on Ebay.
Has installed it and everything seems to work as it should.
Maybe should configure it for Sweden but now everything works as it should.
I just have vcds lite not the full version so I can't configure it.
I will test and see if the functions work satisfactorily anyway.

Maybe not to hope too much yet.
It's only +5 degrees outside.
We'll see when it starts to get a little minus degrees outside what happens.
