hi my central locking has bin playing up since christmas i had a diagnostics check on the car and the garage said it come up with a couple of alarm faults but didn't fink the faults was major so they cleared them, the central locking started working four a couple of days then stopped working again i think it could be the ccu but not sure as the interior lights works e/w ect but the central locking wont it only works if you take the car for a drive for about 10mins and works for about 2hrs then stops working again i was wondering if it was the ccu does it need to be the same seriel number as mine or can i get 1 with a diffrent number and get it coded to my keys i dont want if repaired as i want to get it done asap if anyone has any help please post thanks :)

I think ccu part nos are dependent upon the model year / chassis number so check before you buy.
Any replacement ccu would need coding to the car. Having yours repaired by LAU would not as all the settings are retained.
