CD Player Error

Hi there my CD player has stopped working, the radio is fine but when i put a disk in it just whirrs around for a bit then comes up with the message 'CD Error'. I have tried a lens cleaner disk which hasn't had any affect so im out of ideas.

Any suggestions on what the problem may be or what i could try to make it work, the radio is doing my head in!:eek:

Im wondering if it is possible to remove the stereo and take it apart to see if something obvious is wrong - im not keen on a visit to Audi ££££££!!!
