Change to the Marketplace

Seems your own posts don't register when clicking New Posts, either.
That is because it is clever enough to know that since you posted a new post yourself there is no need to tell you.
I think that is quite clever actually.

So now we seem to have made the whole situation worse by clogging up the new posts section with classifieds. Just saying!

Exactly the point and that is why we don’t want parts threads to be classed as “new posts”. So the above list of new posts should not be included on the new posts section.
I think this was done before we had prevented them from being classed as new posts.

Are you sure, I have not seen a Wanted or Spotted post for days.
I have just posted a test post in Spotted and it has not appeared in my What's New. Can anybody else see it in What's New?
Is it some setting/filter I have inadvertently set?

You were right. I've now corrected the setup so that Wanted and Spotted appear in What's New.

Thanks

Any chance to separate whole cars for sale from the other items? It would help those new to A2s to find a car if they wanted one.

We will see what can be done, it might not happen straight away but I will have a word with the team.

We could have a set of prefixes for the adverts, including Cars, Parts etc. This enables users to filter on such prefixes.

The new improved market place looks great so far looking forward to the launch.. I commend the work you’ve all put in thus far ??
