Changing front seats

Hi all, brand new to the forum.
Ive bought a cheap 2002 A2 to use as a bit of a run around. The front seats are terrible and would like to get them changed. Ive seen the TT seats fit with a little bracket made for them but just wondering is there other audi seats that will fit as handy as the tt seats or maybe even other types of seats?

Thanks in advance

Ron.

Depends what your after but there are a great variety of A2 specific seats in terms of colour, finish and type. The two basic styles are sport and se. Sport has more bolster than se. You can get some with electric adjustable lumbar. Heated seats are available and of course leather or cloth. Any A2 front seat can be added to any car but some electrical changes may be needed/added for heated or lumbar adjustment if your car doesn’t have it. 4 and 5 seat rears are not interchangeable though.

TT seats need some form of bracket I believe. I have S3 Recaro front seats in one of mine, but as @Jellybean will tell you they need a LOT of bracketry, he originally worked out how to fit them in one of his cars.
I have a pair of red TT seats to fit but they need dying first to a darker red. Another job on the list, but house jobs are taking priority at the moment. I am hoping the S3 brackets will suit these!

I have a metal fabricators beside me here where i work so im thinking if a bracket is needed they'll be able to make something to do it.
Jellybean, if youre wanting to recolour the leather its quite an easy process. I can do this relatively cheaply without any major tools or equipment

Thanks for the offer, but looks like you're in Belfast? That a fair way away from me!
