I had a spring replaced at the drivers side a couple of months ago after an incident with a pothole.
After this I was still getting a noise when going over speedbumps, but from the passenger side. Today I had the car on axel stands to look for the cuplrit, expecting to find ARB or another broken spring.

Turns out it was a plastic fastener missing that meant a bit of the wheelarch trim at the bottom front was loose.

For the moment I have used gaffa tape to secure. Can you buy the plastic fasteners from audi? about the size of a 2p with a plastic dowel in the centre?

Glad it wasn't ARBs!

Yes you shpuld be able to get hold of the someone will probably post the part number on here for you shortly. Bet you are glad it wasn't the ARB

Cheers Phil

What you are referring to is known as a split rivet and the part number is 4D0 807 300 and they cost the astronomical price of 29 pence each!!

Cheers,

Mike
