First baby on the way this summer, so need to get organised! So for all you Mums and Dads out there what advice can you give me on child seats, best one to get, etc and whats ISOFIX? can I take advantage of it in a 1.6 FSI Sport…
 
We are upgrading ours as the little'un is now 1 year old.

Tis in good nick and fits A2 no problem. Rear facing and non isofix but with detachable base.

Let me know if interested.

Other advice: Check your car has Airbag switch in front. Most A2's have isofix there but many don't have switch.
 
I have 14 month old twins and decided to pay extra for isofix child seats. The infant ones are great as you leave the base in the car and remove the child seat. There are two attachment points on the base that the seat fixes to - no messing about with seat belts, like my parents have to in their car when they have the children. The only thing is, unless you can deactivate the front air bag they have to go in the back, but you can buy a mirror that fits on the head rest so you can see your child. I also have one if you wish to purchase it. Either way I wish you well for the future.:)
 
Each major shop you visit will tell you which seat fits the A2 and which doesn't, so before choosing ask them to look it up, they have lists of what fits what and what year! I found alot of the newborn/travel systems seats fit, but the next stage didn't, or rather Mothercare didn't have a wide range that fit the A2. Hope this helps!
