Citroen Ami

I quite like this. I suspect we'll see a modified Twizy at track this year.. now that will be interesting :D

What a bl**ody good idea ?

My better half now drives less than three miles a day most days, with no likely increase on the cards. We're currently hanging on to her Yaris diesel to do that as it's worth nothing and costs nothing to run, but the day will come when it needs something doing that isn't worth it. I've looked into secondhand electric cars, but they're all at that sort of price level with 100k on the clock and batteries on borrowed time. If this did make it to the UK I'm sure we'd have one.

Nothing to stop you importing one! Open the driver's door and you're on the pavement! RHD might/will be a problem - Citroen would have to sell a lot to justify it.

Not necessarily. Our seven year old E-Up hasn't lost any range all. I never fast charge it though.

That's not what I remember that a Citroen Ami was.
I used to have a Citroen Ami 8, it was like a 2cv estate version.

I like the cost saving doors. hinged on the same side so one is a suicide door the other your more normal access. Front and rear panels are identical too i believe, so do you simply swap the front and rear lights to confuse the hell out of people? :)
