CK3000 Continued from last year

Just to post a follow up on a thread I started late last year about the Parrot CK3000.

Anyway - I managed to do something to the Symphony II which jammed the CD changer and stopped it working, everything else worked ok so got the radio and cassette. Anyway not sure if what I did to it caused it to fail by plugging in the bluetooth cat kit.

Now I had to remove the BT kit as the missus thought I blew up her CDs. And also Audi is rpelacing it under warranty.

As I searhed further for answers I cam across another board which offered help about tapping power via the stereo.

I have a SonyEricsson Bluetooth kit in mine also running through a Symphony 2 and so far so good... brilliant to get your calls via megawatts BOSE speakers!!! Works a treat!

Still interesting stuff, AK. Makes me feel like I've been lucky in my A2, with all that CAN-BUS confusion going on.

So far I haven't made any attempts to get the switched 12V working, nor have I retried the pinout.
Installing a handsfree set is something else again. I'll remember this thread before doing anything of the sort!

Johann - Did you install yourself? How did you get the power and switched 12V etc ? I am thinking of this sony kit now......
