Clima and servostearing gone

hello all! I'm new and I don't know if I'm posting where I should.I have a problem for a few days now:servostearing and clima do not function any more.It seems i have a short circuit because I've removed all the sockets from the clina compressor, servostearing pompe, and from the fan and it keeps burning one fuse(no. 38).I understand that all these are on the same circuit. Can anybady help me with an electric scheme or some advices because I have to start streaping the wires.
My engine is 1.4 petrol type AUA from 2002.

I had exactly the same fault and it turned out to be a shorting of wires as they come through to the engine bay from the cabin. It's not a small job and will require you to remove the entire dashboard and then repair any wires that have gone.

Cheers,

Mike

Ha, good memory Spike - I've just re-read the thread and have realised it's time to take the dash out to get those screws back in place!

I think it can wait!

Cheers

I've had the same problem that Skipton01 had.A local electrician sorted out the problem. He just changed the wires burned with new ones without removeing the dashboard and now everything is ok.Thank you for your help Spike and for the detail info Skipton01.:)

No worries Sandu - you were lucky in that case, as mine extended into the cabin, so the dash had to come out.

Fingers crossed that he changed all the affected wires.

Cheers,

Mike
