Climate Control

Would you believe it, I'm looking for an A2, take one out to see what there like, not too keen on the colour so took it to my mum's as she needed a new car.... and she bought it, little does she know that on my days off i'll be pinching it.

Anyway, the buttons on the climate control have started to ware out, can these be replaced or do you need new a control panel?

Unfortunately the buttons cannot be bought separately so you would have to buy a full climate control module and these cost around £300 - £400 from memory

Oh well, i looked at another A2 for myself yesterday and this too had worn out buttons.

eBay here i come.

Well, its not so much a problem, more like me being too fussy, its a 1.4 petrol SE from 2001 with 32k on the clock so considering the age its near perfect.

Never thought I'd like the A2 but now think I've fallen in love, soooo much fun to drive and the build quality is excellent.

You could paint the white over, or swap them over when one comes along, my buttons are worn but its not that much of a problem everything is working. Try getting £xxx off if they will for the new panel from the seller if you like the car.

This is a well known problem with all A2's from model year 2002 and newer.

Happy to have a 2001 model

Its only cosmetic and doesn't detract from the whole driving experience.
