Climate not working?

Just noticed that my climate in my silver A2 is now blowing hot air!

It was working a day or so ago, but now its just blowing hot. I have hooked up vagcom with no faults found.

What else could i check? Where is the air con compressor located?
 
Its now working fine!

Maybe one of the climate flaps got stuck? I think the last owner left the climate on 21 permanently as the climate panel looks unused.
 
I had this yesterday!! Climate decided it wanted to have one heat setting of 'hotter than the sun':( No matter what temp or fan speed I used or auto or econ or whatever it just blew out very hot air. After about an hour or so, it just went back to normal:rolleyes::confused:
 
check the flaps using vag-com, sometimes they stick and they may well also decide that it's time to join their half-brothers in the landfill.

I have sticking flaps - the most evidence is when it's cold and on the driver's side there's no warm air towards my feet :D
