Clonck clonk noise from front

I have a fastidious noise that comes from front right ( LHD ). I hear it when I move the car or where there are slight jolts.
This noise can be heard till 25/30 km/h then is disappear. It is like a clonk clonk. It can be heard just moving car, especially with reverse gear. Sometimes also when turning off engine.
But always with warm engine. Never with cold engine.
My workshop check right engine support but it seems ok. They have also checked if there are something not well fixed in engine compartment but they haven’t seen anything.
Any idea of what could be ?
Thanks

Worth checking the dogbone lower mount to the subframe which acts against the torque motion during acceleration / deceleration

Give your engine a good shake, wear gloves if it has to be hot. See if you can replicate the noise. Pay attention to the dog bone.

A dog bone mount is cheap (£33 when I bought the Polo one recently and swapped the gearbox mounting plate for the A2 one) and easy to replace (4 bolts), so if yours is the suspected original it will in any case be past its best and worth replacing - you will definitely notice an improvement in refinement even if it is not the source of your clonk.

At the same time, I would carefully examine / test your anti-roll bar drop links, then each suspension joint on both sides. I’m pretty sure you’ll find a worn one.

Thanks guys ! Precious information.
I will follow them and try to find the noise origin.
Just to be sure the dog bone mount is the one in the pictures I am posting ?
Thanks !!

You can buy one for sister company cars VW Seat Skoda, just make sure the rubber bushing is rated for the same type of car as yours. So if its a diesel make sure the replacement is for a diesel. Note you will probably have to take the mounting bracket off your car and swap it onto the new pendulum mount ( dog bone ).

I have a 1.4 petrol. I will check prices in Audi and also in sister company to compare them. What is the average time needed for replace this dog bone mount ?

Yes last one I bought a few years ago was from Skoda a fraction of what audi wanted ..same part ?..

Just swapped dogbone on my 1.2TDI for a skoda/polo/seat one. Did not need to remove undertray even, just loosened rear part for access and that was enough for me. Mounting bracket was left in place, so 2 bolts total to remove/install. No clonking, just rocking the engine felt too simple. My own ass-mounted sensors seem to like new one better, gearchanges + on/off power seem smoother, less vibration too, but could not find anything wrong with old one by eyes and hands only. Engine will not rock so much when shaken now.

But old one had smaller bushing already replaced probably, seemed too shiny and good-looking from rest of the bone. If i still like it after some days, i'll transplant larger bushing to old bone too, since there is clear difference in bone itself (weight etc).

Probably around 30€ (have not pay'd for it yet), while audi part is not available or 170+shipping at audi tradition.

I have checked code. It is for petrol AUA 8Z0 199 851J or R.
In audi it’s not available any longer. Part has been cancelled.
It is available at Audi tradition at 110€ plus 39€ for shipment.
I found it at Autodoc at €35 but it is Tedgum brand. I have never heard this brand so I am not sure about quality.
I should check at Skoda dealer if this part is available but it might have another code. If someone has bought it @ Skoda can support me with part number ?
Thanks !!

Ps. I also have vibration in reverse gear and after reading various post I wonder it depends from dog bone mounts. So more than one problem on my A2 might be related to it

That one seems weird, fits from 1.2petrol to 2.0tdi...

From quick search maybe FEBI BILSTEIN 31124 suits better.
There are listed petrol engines from 75 to 105hp. Polo etc...
Listed available on autodoc. Might find better alternative, but at least better than Tedgum unknown bone...

(ENGINE MOUNT SUPPORT FE108779 FEBI BILSTEIN) i GOT THIS OFF A POPULAR AUCTION SITE FOR MY DIESEL AND IT FITTED OKAY
