Hello again,

what are the differences between 6N0142063D 6N0142063A and 6N0142063.
I found different prices for this piece and I wanted to take the cheapest one: D
THX

The ONLY difference is the hose for the oil, and by that i mean the length of it.
Buy the cheapest, remove the pin that holds the hose from your old one and just replace it.

PS: Though the real way to do it is to send your old one to a german guy (www.a2-freun.de) who replaces the old sensor with a new one. The price for a new clutch cylinder is roughly 350-400€ while a refurbished one is 250€ from the German guy. And the refurbished one will last the life of the car.

The guys user name is "Mankmil" over at www.a2-freun.de

Replacing the clutch cylinder is roughly 1,5h including everything. You will need to bleed the clutch cylinder after replacement (hex screw on top of it) and perform a basic settings.

If you want to go real cheap I've got plenty of used, working, clutch cylinders. Or if you just want a spare one to do problem shooting with.

Thx a lot! i know about Mankmil but to much time for the piece on the road Germania - Romania.
i found 6N0142063 whit no letter on the finish with only 100 Euro !!!!

A 100€ for a brand new one, that's just... AWESOME!
I'm guessing you're gonna give it a go and buy the cheap one, please leave a comment when you've replaced it!
I might be willing to give you a fee for sending a couple of those cheap ones my why ;)

Got to do some reasearch on it though, it just sounds to good to be true. And I should have read something about it in the German forums.

tomorow i gone check the store. Maybe it's a mistake in the data base, or some stock liquidation.

When you search for the part in the VAG database it returns nothing. Really wierd!

Oemepc has a trojan, according Malwarebytes!

6N0 142 063A is for an A2
6N0 142 063B is for early Lupo 3L's with the battery under the bonnet
6N0 142 063D is for later Lupo 3L's and FSI's with the battery in the boot.

€100 seems too cheap! Where is the bleed screw? There is no Audi instruction for bleeding; it should be self-bleeding.

Yes, the only difference is the hydraulic pipe which you can easily swap over.

The bleed screw is on top of the cylinder (when mounted in the engine bay), I think it's a 3mm internal hex screw. When swapping cylinders you pressurize the system and then open the screw for a few seconds to let the air in the hydraulic hose out.
