Clutch pedal clip broke. What part is it?

Hello fellow lawn mower drivers!
Yesterday, while adjusting clutch pedal height with my foot, I've noticed something falling off.
After inspecting, I've found some small white plastic part broken off (attached). The pedal feels looser and with less resistance to depress.
Any ideas which part has failed? Couldn't inspect, very cold. Drives fine.

Thanks for the highres diagram. I've tried looking into something like this before posting, but couldnt find the details from my part on it.
Looks like I'll need to disasemble the dash a bit to get the whole picture
 
Diagrams are good but not always show exact part. To me the broken part looks like the part that locks the pedal onto the master cylinder, part no 25.

Have a good check of this part first.
