Concert II CD Player

Does anybody know the rough price of the Concert II CD Player from Audi? I have a Chorus II and feel a little inadequate. I would just buy an after market player but i like the sound of the Chorus II plus i dont have to worry about it getting stolen.

Going through the car configurator on audi.nl and audi.co.uk I see the following:

In Holland you have to pay 769 euro for the Chorus. And 1040 euro for the Concert.

However, in the UK the 'up'-price for the Concert II is only 200 pounds. And on a SE specced car it even comes as standard.

But these are all prices when you buy the car new. No idea what the 'aftermarket' prices would be. Ring up a dealer to hear more, I guess.

For the Dutch price of around a 1000 euro, I'd say you could do way way better with an aftermarket system. For that price you can get a decent headunit, speakers and have it installed too. And a simple drop-in replacement of the headunit would cost only a fraction of all that...

Just my 2 cents ;). If you hear the price from a dealer, let us know. I'm curious!

might be worth keeping tabs on ebay as there are always one or two popping up.
 
That's why my a2 has a aftermarket Becker Mexico Pro CD. It costs less and it's a far better unit than standard. Data-Beckers are fitted in high-class mercedes and Ferrari's, that should say something !
The illumination is the same colour red as the dash.

I noticed that there is a Concert II for sale in the selling section of the forum..could be a matchup ! Have cut and pasted the ad below..... Grab it while you can!

Concert II radio-cd. Two buttons have a litle scrats. Works great. Sending is for free.
