With climate control my windscreen completely clears very quickly. I'd do a few checks, like for blocked/malfunctioning vents and failing that pressure test of the CC system.

It does look odd I admit. Do you suspect that the screen bonding may have failed at the corner?

how old is that photo? green leaves? haven't seen them for a month...

anyway: how warm is it and the relative humidity? I'd expect that if you leave the not-quite-warm car in very humid weather and then get back in (so drive, say, 3 miles to a store and get out, then get back in again 15 min later) while everything wasn't warm and humidity is nigh on 98%, temps below 5C.

Other than that, there's no reason for that apart from damp inside the car. You have checked it thoroughly (including the battery compartment), haven't you?

:) lots of green leaves still in Essex, If it was just dampness in the air thought it would be more wide spread across the screen, rather than one spot.
I check the boot etc more than oil and water.

Thanks

I had a damp patch in the driver's corner when I got mine, it was caused by a damp driver's mat. Cleaned & dried, no more problems :)
I think it had just done lots of short journeys in wet weather and never quite dried fully.

Maybe where you park that bit of the windscreen is the only place where the sunlight does / doesn't shine - creating a hot / cold spot?
