Just been to TPS to get some oil and filters for the A2 and my Crafter. Thought I would get some coolant at the same time. I was hoping that as most VAG vehicles use the same G13 or G12+ etc I would be able to get some that I can use in both my vehicles.

The guy behind the till looked up both reg numbers and for the van got me some G12 Evo (G12E050A2) ready mixed in 1L bottles for £4.08/ bottle ex VAT. Not a bad price.

When he looked up the A2 however the part number was different. Still G12 Evo but had part number G12E050M2 at a cost in the region of £20+/L!!

Anyone know what the difference is between these?

Were they both ready mixed, or is the G12E050M2 concentrate, which would mix with water, and make quite a lot of litres, and would suit both vehicles?
