Cooling fan

Hi,information required,I have purchased a Audi A2 02 reg without aircon.At some time this vehicle has suffered front end damage because the cooling fan is not connected and there are no wiring plugs,also it would appear that there should be a fan switch in the rad?Can anyone give me any ideas..thanks.:
 
Hi howdou, welcome to the A2oc
Is it petrol or diesel ? I suspect the set-up will be the same but on my TDi there is a termp sensor in the bottom hose where it connects to the radiator. In addition there is a finned alloy fan control box just above the fan shroud.
