dashboard rattles & squeaks

My A2 has now done 5k miles and I'm amassed how many rattles & squeaks come from the dashboard. It's especially apparent on the M42 south, just before the M40 turn-off, where the inside lane is very bumpy (anyone else know this section?...grrrrr). Is anyone else's A2 like this? Is it worth asking the dealer to fix, or will they create more rattles & squeaks than they fix?

Never really noticed that bit of road being bumpy, but then don't normally drive it in the A2.

If it is annoying you now then you have nothing to lose!

I get a really annoying squeak from the centre console, on the top left. But only when the car is really cold and mainly in the winter, as soon as it warms up, it goes!

Yep - Know that stretch of motorway. My A2 had a rattle & squeaks behind the dask when it was 10k old. Traced to the wiring loom which had come looes - it was a 'common fault' at the time. All the dash had to come off! Warranty job.

Trouble is now I have a rattle above the rear view mirror in the roof. Its not the roof blind but behind the light/switches I think. Anyone got any clues on this on. Comes on at 50mph.

That's really easy to pull off.
Just remove the transparent light thing.
Then use two knives or screwdrivers to remove the whole thing.
Probably a cable or something.
I stuffed the whole space with silencer material, makes the car sound less like a caravan in the rain....
