Depronman Services

Hello
I am new to the forum (just bought my A2 TDI 90), so maybe I am not doing something right.
I don't seem to be able to access the link regarding the drain bolt for TDI fuel filters.
Mine broke and now I have jack rigged it with a screw joining both ends, at least it does not leak.
How can I access the link to buy it the upgraded drain bolt?
Or should I send a private message?
Thank you fellow A2 enthusiasts!

Happy to supply a drain screw if you drip me a pm

Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul can I order infills for the A2 footrest? If you can do them in blue colour that would be great!

Thanks

Did I see dipstick ends or am I dreaming?

They are out of stock until I can source some suitable 3D printing filament
I have some 1.4 petrol ones left but all the tdi’s ones have sold and I can’t replenish stock until I can get the above mentioned filament

Cheers Paul

Hi - just bought a 2002 1.6FSi that has a scratched windscreen - so guessing a new wiper arm is in order - would like to order one, but not sure which is the correct one ... here's a photo of what is on right now.... Thanks, Ben

@steve_c - thanks :cool:

@depronman - let me know how to order - looks like you do a replacement service where you keep a deposit till I send mine in... sounds good to me - let me know what you need from me to proceed.

I can highly recommend these arms - superb engineering and Tank wouldn't have got his MOT without one. I would add that your wiper arm looks to be sitting a bit low at rest - do you have an unswept column by the A pillar? Perhaps adjust when the new one arrives.

"do you have an unswept column by the A pillar?" - not sure what you mean with this - can you elaborate a little - I'm going to be fitting the new Arm tomorrow (arrived today - thanks @depronman ) Thanks :)

I think Mike means there's a large gap between where the wiper stops on the upward stroke and the driver's side edge of the windscreen. It's a bit of a balancing act with these, between the arm sitting too high at the bottom at rest and taking up more of your forward visibility than you would like, and leaving a thick unswept area at the other end.

Gotcha.. thanks - that makes sense.. I was being a bit dim.. my only defence is that I only have let the wipers do 1 sweep since I picked it up.. the scraping noise convinced me to get it sorted as soon as possible 😁

My car has accumulated a few bits of Paul's handiwork now: recon aero wiper, two door checkstraps, fuel filter screw, EGR and ASV spacer. Just wanted to say that all of these have fitted easily and work exactly as described if not better. Very much recommended.
