Hi guys
About a week ago i the glow plug light started flashing while driving and so i plugged in my VAG-COM and ran a check and here are the results.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1 Fault Found:
00668 - Supply Voltage Terminal 30
002 - Lower Limit Exceeded - Intermittent

So i guess there are now two problems.
Problem 1: is the Brake Switch and i've read on other posts that this is a pretty simple thing and its linked to the flashing glow plug light. But can i just order the part from the Audi garage?

Problem 2: I am not sure what/where the 'Supply Voltage Terminal 30' is. Any ideas? Also, would i have to get it done at a garage?

Thanks for your time.

JPA,

Yes brake light switch is less than a tenner from audi garage. Easy to fit and should solve the flashing glow plug light. I did this recently after having the same error code. I intermittently didnt have brake lights while the switch was faulty too!

Sorry I cant help on your other issue.

Hi JPA
Ref the 668 fault code, the Ross Tech database suggests it could be anything from a wiring fault to low recorded voltage due to battery condition / low temps. I'd clear the fault codes and repeat the scan after a few days. You may be lucky but if it does log the code again, start checking the wiring etc -
