HI I understand these parts are no longer sourced by Audi, but was told about "Audi Heritage" was wondering where others buy bits like fuel filters?"

A fuel filter itself you can get from Eurocarparts or any normal factors. These vary depending on exactly which engine you have - which engine are you looking for?

Fuel filter housing - if it is the earlier metal one for a Tdi, again most of the aftermarket people sell them.
8Z0 127 435is the original part number

The later plastic housing - try one of the breakers on here or see fuel line / fuel filter pages for specified engine types at this link -

the drain screw for the later plastic housing - contact @depronman here who makes new ones

For part numbers - go to the 7zap A2 page - and look at the fuel system pages depending on which engine etc. you have.

Richard, Motex in Dumow can supply them, you just need to know which type you need, canister or filter.

If the car is right in the bio it is a tdi 90 which means it the plastic housing and cartridge filter and also subject to the plastic drain screw so worthy replacing this with one of my aluminium ones as if the plastic screw breaks which is 90% likely then you are in a world of pain

The filter I fit in these is crossland and comes with new o rings about £8 on ECP’s

Bio must be incorrect. Richard's car is an TDi AMF, I suspect it's the canister filter. He definitely qulaifies for the high mileage club too !

Almost certainly the canister filter then. I have only ever seen one AMF with the plastic filter and suspect that was changed over at some point in the cars life as it also had the 42 litre tank and a mod to the rear exhaust to mis the tank

Could have been original - on the 7zap diagrams for the fuel lines / filters etc - clearly very last of the run AMFs did come with the later pipework style and the plastic filter housing as well as a 42L tank and a similar exhaust back box to the BHC. Probably not many though!
pipework / filter

tank (see F-suffix part 1)
